Barbara Vaz is an associate with Rose Law Firm. She represents corporate and individual clients in a variety of Immigration matters. These include Temporary Residence and Extension applications, such as visitor, work, and study permits, as well as applications for Permanent Residence, Canadian Citizenship, and Permanent Resident card extensions.
Barbara obtained her law degree from the Universidade Estadual de Londrina, Brazil. She practiced Family, Civil, Tax and Criminal Law in Brazil for several years before immigrating to Canada.
In Canada, Barbara obtained significant experience in Canadian Immigration Law while working at her own practice as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant. This work included strategic and practical solutions for permanent residence applications, as well as the admission of temporary workers and students to Canada. She assisted with many permanent residence applications under family-related classes.
Barbara finished the process of validating her academic experience through the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) in 2020 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2022.
She is fluent in Portuguese, and conversational in Spanish and French.
